Property location is breathtaking and the staff go above and beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, Danilo met us with warmth, he made our arrival so memorable and continued to help us navigate Taormina throughout our stay with advice for the beaches, restaurants and transfers. He was so helpful and made phone calls for us to make reservations in Italian. He couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and staff were attentive and friendly. The pool is a stunning space to relax and just absorb the stunning views. Hotel Metropole is incredible and no photo we saw before our arrival did it justice.

Very well appointed room and facilities Staff always helpful especially Ineza in the food area The selection of food for breakfast was fantastic even granita in a brioche Would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again

Excellent location right on the bay with stunning view, private beach that gets sun all day, unheated swimming pool. Good gym. spacious, quiet double rooms with balcony view of bay. very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food and superb buffet breakfast.

Excellent quality of all offerings, and you cannot beat the view. The granita is absolutely phenomenal - highly recommend a mix of almond & coffee flavour to enjoy with your brioche! You can get the complimentary transfer to/from the other Belmond property as well (Sant'Andrea) and the breakfasts are included in room price.
