Everything was perfect. 5 minutes walking (or less) to the airport, 15 min walking to the Central Station (but if you prefer, you can go to the airport and take a shuffle train to Central). The room was clean, with a coffee machine, tea, water, TV. The toilet was clean. The bed are comfortable. We went to the airport at 4a.m., so this was the best accomodation for us for sure.

Staying in one and only 5-star hotel in Livorno, deciding last-minute, arriving after midnight to the old, but well reconstructed, Palace by the sea, being checked-in by a welcoming FO Night Manager, having upgrade to the one of the most fantastic rooms I’ve seen in my life: with huuuuge balcony, overlooking sea, ships, Terrazza Mascagni, Lighthouse far away… having gorgeous breakfast with a variety of choices for every taste, then having a quick dip in the rooftop pool. Was I dreaming? Seems like that. Definitely the best option in Livorno (also with a gym). Thank You, Grand Hotel Palazzo, for your hospitality and amazing memories!

Great location. We have stayed twice during Carnival, in 2020 and 2023, and the hotel is so clean and in excellent condition. The front desk staff is lovely. We would stay again. It's the nicest hotel on the strand.
