This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have have had the privilege of staying in. Exquisite blend of old palatial architecture and mid-century style decor and contemporary furnishings, coupled with lovely staff all of whom gave the strong impression they loved being there as much as we did. Nothing was too much trouble. Our bedroom suite was huge and extremely comfortable with stunning views over the Aravalli hills and surrounding countryside. Fabulous pool and the restaurant breakfasts and dinners were amazing. We particularly liked our tour of the hotel’s kitchen garden from which much of the fruit, vegetables, herbs and spices were organically grown. The two days we spent here were a perfectly peaceful break in our otherwise energetic month touring Rajasthan.

Our stay at Wyndham grand in Udaipur was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed — not in a rehearsed hotel-hospitality way, but with real warmth and attention. The check-in was smooth, and they even offered us a welcome drink that immediately set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and had this serene view that made us want to just sit by the window and soak in the surroundings. Every small detail — from the perfectly made bed to the thoughtful amenities — showed how much care goes into maintaining the place. What really stood out, though, was the service. Whether it was room service, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond without ever feeling intrusive. They remembered our preferences, helped us plan our local sightseeing, and even surprised us with a small treat on our last night. The food deserves a special mention. Breakfast had a great mix of local and international options, all fresh and delicious. Overall, staying here didn’t feel like staying at a hotel; it felt like being looked after by people who truly love what they do. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories.
