A cozy place in white town which should be a must stay for anyone coming to Pondicherry. It is within walking distance of everything in white town, beach is a 2 mins walk with terrace giving sea view. We stayed for four nights and everything about the property was amazing from the room, the verandah in front of the room to the outdoor seating in Mira restaurant.

The location is great, and the staff are super friendly! During checkout, we accidentally left some of our belongings at the lobby. However, the staff went above and beyond by couriering the items to us afterward. A huge thank you to the staff for their kindness and assistance.

We received a warm welcome when checking in and then were shown to our room. We had a second-floor room with a nice view of the garden. We could watch the birds in the trees and the staff care for the beautiful gardens from a large balcony. It was a great place to relax. The room itself was large and had modern facilities to turn electrics on and off. That might not be everyone's cup of tea. The bathroom was very nice. And we were also happy to have been supplied with bottled water. The meals at the restaurant were fantastic. There are not a lot of other options available in the area. The staff were fantastic in the restaurant. It was nice to have staff come and talk to us, including the chef. The place definitely had a resort feel. The pool was great and the staff tried to put on different events at night to keep everyone entertained. The beach is close by, though, our choice was to use the beautiful resort pool and enjoy sunsets from the beach.

Originally built to serve as the mayor’s residence, this 5-star heritage property is surrounded by a garden and is a 5-minute walk from Pondicherry Beach.
