My husband and I spent two nights at Santonearo Hotel in Santorini — and honestly, it was one of the most beautiful stays of our lives. Shortly after landing, I received a call from the hotel letting us know that they were waiting for us. At the parking area, a very kind gentleman (I believe his name was Alex) warmly welcomed us and accompanied us to the reception. Everything was explained to us calmly and politely, which made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. We received a breakfast menu with an impressively wide selection: cornflakes, different types of eggs, pancakes, yogurt with honey and fruit (my personal highlight!), and hot and cold drinks of our choice. Honestly, it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Our room was stunning — bright, spacious, with a beautifully high ceiling. At first it felt a little cool, but within minutes the heating made it perfectly warm and cozy. The shower was huge, and the amenities were excellent: water, tea, coffee, minibar drinks, toiletries, sewing kit, razors, toothbrushes, and more. Fresh slippers were provided daily, which was a lovely touch. A real highlight for us was the privacy. Each room comes with its own private pool, and it truly felt 100% private. No one could see us, there were no strangers walking around, and unlike other hotels where guests can look into each other’s pool areas, here we had complete peace. We could enjoy the pool 24/7 — even in the evening, the water was beautifully warm and relaxing. Top marks for privacy! The service was excellent as well. We could choose the time for housekeeping, and every time we returned to the room, everything was spotless. Since my husband and I both have our birthdays in the same week, we wanted to treat ourselves to something special — and the hotel made this trip unforgettable. Beforehand, they even emailed me asking for permission to prepare a small surprise in our room. I really appreciated that they asked first.

Amazing stay! Room, pool, deck area and view were fantastic! Staff were so nice and couldn't do enough for us. Can literally see the Caldera view from your bed. Breakfast brought to your room every morning, really good and varied selection. Room and bathroom were massive. Quiet area away from the crowds of Fira and Oia but close to Athrokiri village with a selection of restaurants 15 mins walk downhill.

Vey nice resort that is perfect but still very familiar and friendly. The resort is large and it offers several swimming pools and places to take a rest. Nevertheless, it still keeps intimacy and privacy, you feel like at home. Clean and well furnished rooms, not large but very comfortable. Very good breakfast. Perfect and friendly staff. Parking place for rented cars. The resort is in a nice village, close to the airport. It offers a good beach, plenty of tavernas, restaurants and bars, still not extremely busy and crowded. We highly recommend this place!

One of the best if not THE best. The suites were amazing, serene, and so welcoming, the view was nice, the pool is good (but not heated to my preference, it could do with a couple more degrees), the food was great. All in all, the best experience in Santorini was this hotel and that was because of one thing, the staff. Especially Rosy and Thanasis (Thanos), great people to hang around with, great service, amazing and sooooooo kind.

We had a truly amazing stay at this hotel! From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed with delicious welcome drinks, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The service was excellent — our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bottled water provided every day. All the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet was fantastic — a wide variety of fresh and tasty food that exceeded our expectations. The hotel also has a great swimming pool with a jacuzzi, sauna and hamam which were perfect for relaxing. And the beach is just a 3-minute walk away — super convenient and ideal for beach lovers! One of the most touching moments was on the last day: as it was my boyfriend’s birthday, the hotel surprised us with an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more special. Huge thanks for the hospitality! We would love to come back again! 💛

Attentive and kind. Yannis, our waiter, was exceptional. And Maria!!! A true gem who made our stay memorable. A must visit hotel.
