This is a serious venue. We were delayed on our way back from Valencia and had to cancel our original booking in Agen and stay at Carcassonne instead. They took our booking the same day which was handy. The Chateau is magnificent and the room was terrific. It was cold outside but the heating worked and the windows were tastefully double glazed. The bed was just the right size - not ridiculously big - and extremely comfortable. The chateau contained some unusual furniture and artefacts - see photo. Dinner and breakfast were first class. We should like to come back for a longer stay one day

The most lux room of all the stays this trip and great value. Loved the comp mini bar, spa in room, robes, etc. So divine I wish I was staying longer!
