IrelandI absolutely liked everything. The bed could have been a little softer, but that is really down to personal preference.
Staff was very accommodating, friendly and polite. Especially Luther could not do enough to make my stay pleasant. He is a credit to the Hotel.
The room was a generous size, my request for parquet flooring could be accommodated (allergies), the bathroom offered all one could wish for and need, even a bathroom scale was thought of. Both room and bathroom were spotless.
It is the little things, from parking my car, to delivery of my suitcases, to the turndown service and the unobtrusive attention of the staff that make this a wonderful hotel. This was not my first visit and it was as good as I remembered, if not better. This is how you run a hotel.
I can only recommend and will stay again, if/when I am back in Augsburg.

Hotel Maximilian is a real 5 star hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Augsburg - you can comfortably walk to all major sites in the city. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, good breakfast. You can charge your car in the public parking garage, where the hotel has reserved Electric Car charging stations. AND very important for me: a bed that was longer than 2meters!!!! ALL in all: properly 5 stars
