As long-term travelers, we are exceptionally discerning about where we stay, and this hotel exceeded our every expectation. The 90-degree high-temperature laundry service is, without a doubt, a game-changer. We were able to pack light, knowing we could properly sanitize and refresh our entire wardrobe in a few hours. This level of cleanliness extends throughout the property; the offer of sealed, disposable towels and bath towels was a modern touch we've rarely seen and highly valued. The gym allowed us to maintain our routine, and the extensive breakfast buffet provided sustained energy for long days of hiking and cycling. The convenience of having a quality restaurant on-site for a simple, delicious dinner after an exhausting day cannot be overstated. This hotel understands the needs of the modern, hygiene-conscious traveler and delivers impeccable service and facilities.

That May Hotel is a quiet and magical place that blends perfectly with little Yangshuo. Jack, the owner, is a fantastic guy. It was like staying at the home of a friend who lives abroad and is always available for anything you need or ask for. It's also a stone's throw from downtown Yangshuo, the perfect distance to immerse yourself in the magical energy of this city. His hotel is essential but offers everything you need. It's very clean, has great coffee, and offers scooter rentals (perfect for a magnificent tour around Yangshuo).

Yangshuo is one of those natural wonders of the world that is already breathtaking. Imagine, value-adding to the visual experience with a superbly tranquil stay at an accommodation that soothes the soul… That is exactly what we found at Yangshuo Garden Boutique Hotel. Situated in Jima Village, a short ride from Yangshuo, the Garden Boutique Hotel is nestled in Karst country, with traditional buildings dotted serenely throughout landscaped gardens. A gymnasium, restaurant, swimming pool, teahouse, and library, further adds to the appeal. We stayed in the Deluxe Villa with Mountain View - A. It is very private with a large king bed, bath and shower, large timber deck balcony, reverse-cycle air conditioning, electric blanket, mini fridge, coffee and tea. However, more than the super accommodation, it was the class of service that impressed us the most! Sophia, Julia and the rest of the team were nothing short of superb. We were totally enaomoured with the warmth and caring on display from all staff. While using the term “home away from home” is often overused, this is certainly not an exaggeration when applied to the Garden Boutique Hotel. This is certainly the most warm reception we have ever received from any accommodation anywhere in the world. I have no hesitation in recommending the Garden Boutique Hotel as exceptional, I would also not hesitate in recommending Sophia and her team in curating a super itinerary for any duration of stay in Yangshuo.
