We arrived so late due to flight problems. Destroyed by the trip . They offered us an upgrade free of charge and ...it wasn't a normal room but an apartment! more than 100 SQM !!! two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge comfortable living room, (three 55" TVs, one for each room), a fantastic view of the city on the 26th floor, and so on ...all things at an unbelievable price (compared to EU standards). Really polite people at the lobby. Good breakfast. The hotel is two steps away from the downtown of Chongqing , a mall, and from metro station. Unfortunately, we stayed just for one night. But we will be back soon, sure! thanks to all Ascott staff.

I absolutely love this Light and Shadow Aesthetics Hotel! It’s just a stone’s throw from the subway station, and you can wander right to the attractions on foot. The room has free toiletries, a fridge and all that stuff, the 24-hour front desk is so lovely, and it’s unbeatable value for money!

Located in the heart of the City. F&B, shopping, transportation are all within easy reach. The lobby occupies the whole of 51st floor. Very impressive view of the city the moment we checked-in. Cleanliness is excellent. Very good breakfast. Impressive service from front office to restaurant to house keeping staff. Truly 5 star!
