This cozy apartment went beyond our expectations. It had all that was necessary other than being equipped with peculiar furniture. We really loved the peaceful atmosphere of the small town of São Vicente. The apartment also has a pool and an outside space immersed in the nature. Leonel has been very helpful providing all the information needed and giving us interesting tips for visiting the area, and was very kind as well to give us a taste of his Madeira wine. Very recommended 😊

Casas da Levada features free WiFi. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a seating area and terrace or patio, for guests' convenience. We stayed at Casas de Levada as a family of 4 and loved our stay there. The place is a great combination of charming rustic touches with a modern flair. Our kids loved roaming around the grounds checking out the bunnies and cats. We loved having breakfast in the cute kitchen with the fresh food provided and relaxing by the fireplace at night. Quinta das Hortênsias, a property with a garden, is set in Arco de São Jorge, 11 km from Santana's Traditional Houses, 31 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, as well as 40 km from Girao Cape. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The farm stay offers garden views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Beautiful little boutique accommodation run by a family. The Host Viriato is very kind and thoughtful, and was attentive to anything we needed or asked about. The apartment we stayed at was well equipped had an equipped kitchen, and was very comfortable, with a beautiful view! We finished every day on the balcony enjoying the breathtaking views of the garden and the ocean. The breakfast included is in a nearby restaurant, and had a good variation of food and very kind staff.

At the farm stay, every unit comes with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathrobes and a hair dryer. An oven, a microwave and toaster are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne, fruits and chocolates or cookies. A small house in the garden is located in the hills just a few minutes from Funchal. In the large garden there is another house for rent and the house where the owners live. Enough privacy is ensured. The garden is beautiful, carefully maintained, lots of flowers, trees - a small botanical garden :-) The owners are very nice people, they advised, helped... The house is spacious enough for two people, very well furnished, we had everything we needed. Spacious bed, clean towels every day, toiletries available. Only the bathrobe was a bit small for 194cm :-) Very clean, perfectly cleaned. Every day! And every day breakfast in the fridge. Juices, delicious fresh pastries, fruit, jam, ham, cheese, eggs, coffee capsules... Due to the weather it was cold, but the house has heating, air conditioning (which also heats) and an American stove + wood. We really enjoyed the week. And if we return to Madeira, the choice of accommodation is clear.

The perfect villa for any budding explorer looking to enjoy the natural beauty that Madeira’s landscape has to offer, or fire safety enthusiast looking for the gold standard in both prevention and cover (should the silent assassin come knocking). Where should we start? Correct extinguishers; clearly labelled, easily accessible, all within close proximity of the hazard identified. Fire escapes clear from obstruction and surprise surprise, correctly signposted. Please also note the independently powered lighting in this escape route, a touch that didn’t go un noticed. Manual alarm points, correctly installed and labelled no more than 1.4m from the ground and fully serviceable (we checked). Fire blankets conveniently stored next to cooking hazards and what’s more, with English instructions. At no point during our stay did we feel our safety was being compromised by lousy fire safety protocols or unserviceable equipment. We slept soundly, knowing everything had been done to protect us.. because we all know… fire doesn’t sleep.

Featuring mountain and garden views, this farm stay also has free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 22 km from Marina do Funchal. The location is absolutely perfect. View is amazing and i love all the animals around the house (i would recommend you dont dislike cats). The house is lovely, very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equiped, I cooked quite a lot. Laura is an amazing host, helped us a lot.

A car rental service is available at the farm stay. Everything was perfect! The property was beautiful, big and everything you need. Close to a little beach. The kitchen was huge and super well equipped! We stayed for 3 nights and was the perfect quiet space to explore this part of the island. We would stay there again anytime! Loved it!
