The Cortijo is located in the beautiful scenery in the mountains of Malaga. The apartment is very spacious, you feel that they have a very good hand for design, combining the 200 year old building with modern elements. We felt comfortable instantly. Food was an absolute joy! Sandra is a proficient and passionate chef and surprises not only with the amazing tastes but also with beautiful arrangements of breakfast and the 3-course-dinner. So much attention to detail! We had a perfect combination of enjoying the property incl. massages and exploring the surroundings of Malaga, beaches and mountains :) We are looking forward to coming back soon!!

We loved the accessibility of the property. With a bedroom downstairs, two fully fitted kitchens, essentially two living areas (one outside and one inside), two dishwashers, a washing machine. It had everything you’d need. The beds were very comfortable with proper mattresses. The pool was lovely and big. We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of space for all of us. The owner was very kind and helpful. There was more than enough room for our three cars.

The house is truly spacious, which makes it comfortable for staying with a large group.

It’s a very quiet place, it’s indeed a cave house, dug into the mountain side so it’s completely soundproof. Excellent night sleep, no disturbance, not even from the phone which does not have a signal inside the house. And I woke up, everyday for a full week, to the BEST view from Pegalajar, looking down south to the whole valley! Best place to have coffee and breakfast was right on the terrace in front of the house. The house is equipped with everything for a comfortable stay. I found even included a “starter kit” with coffee, water, juice and sweets, just the make the first morning feel at home!
