What to say. Buffet breakfast. The food is good and the selection is quite sufficient. A quiet and peaceful place with a beautiful view of the city. We cannot influence the weather conditions, so we did not use the pool. Too bad, it's probably fantastic in the summer. All in all, our recommendation.

The place is located on a hill with a great view on Verona! You have a chance to live a vinery and enjoy the picturesque Italian countryside. Before our arrival we received a very helpful guide from San Mattia on how to get to the location by different means of transport and we ended up using a bus, which was very convenient (it only takes 15-20 mins to get to the center of Verona). The room is very nice, stylish and comfortable, we also had a veranda that we could use to drink tea in the evening enjoying the breathtaking views on a town! The place was also really quiet which gives a chance to have a good sleep at night! The breakfast was good, with farm products as is mentioned. We also booked San Mattia restaurant for our dinner on the day of our arrival and really enjoyed it! We definitely would like to come back to San Mattia!

The location and the architecture of the building. Very spacious, and clean - a traditional look matching the surround area with a sophisticated touch by the Host. The view of the surrounding area was just lovely. Driving back to Ponte Florio in the evening made me feel a bit special. Francesca and her husband are simply fantastic. Thank you guys!!

A successful experiences on this trip with a location we discovered entirely by chance in Verona, or more precisely in Dossi, a small village located about 15 km away (approximately 25-30 minutes by car). I say by chance because we ended up here while trying to avoid the noise and hustle of the famous city, as well as the high accommodation and parking prices. That’s how we found this wonderful guesthouse, which I’ll describe in the following article: Agriturismo Ai Dossi – from agricultural production to agritourism. From the moment you step through the gate, everything is authentically Italian. The reception, the warm welcome, the tour of the location, and, of course, the accommodation (the rooms). We were greeted by Lorenzo, who we later discovered to be a renowned chef with extensive experience in Verona’s restaurants. We also selected our breakfast menu at that time: since there were three of us, we chose two „solti” menus and one „dolce” – to make the culinary experience complete. What turned a simple stay into an experience, however, was the dinner offered by the hosts. And what could be more authentic in Italy than pizza and wine?! Well, there were six types of gourmet pizza proposed and prepared by Masterchef Lorenzo, using ingredients from their own production or local farms, and for each one, Margherita served (and of course described, as a young sommelier should) six types of wines – some from local wineries, others produced on their own property.

Super dog friendly, perfect mixture of modern furniture and classic architecture, extremely clean, very quite yet close to the center and amazingly friendly service! We felt very welcomed and our dog was not only allowed to accompany us to the breakfast area but in fact she could run around everywhere all day long playing with the super friendly owner’s dog Albus. It’s also perfectly located up in the quiet hills over Verona but you still can walk down to the city centre within half an hour. Everyone was super helpful and a great host. We stayed two days at the pool and felt very relaxed.

Very pleasant stay in a unique and welcoming residence. The staff is adorable, very friendly and speaks English. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is generous and very good. Very cute farm house with a warm welcome (thank you Andrea!), amazing breakfast with freshly baked pies and homemade sweet and savory things. There is also a cute terrace bar (5 min away) with stunning view on Verona at sunset.

View was excellent from dinning area, The breakfast had whole fruit, oranges, kiwi. apples,pears & canned apricots there wasw cereal, prunes & grains,yoghurt. Cakes. Boiled & scrambles eggs, cold smoky belly bacon breads & rolls. Twl sliced cheese salami & ham. Coffee tea, juice & citrus water. Located in the hills about 5 km from verona town centre with varios levels of accommodation it is a lovely farm stay.

Amazing location: Away from the city noise, amazing view of the city, living in nature, relaxed atmosphere; Breakfast: was really delicious and ample variety, served by smiling staff, perfect mornings; Farmhouse: was nice to have a farmhouse with farm animals to look at, specially for the kids; Wine: delicious wines, explained well by staff; Dinner: delicious food, dishes explained patiently by staff; Return: will be definitely back
