Facilities include an outdoor pool. Above all the friendliness and determination of the staff to ensure that we were happy and satisfied. But the breakfast also deserves a special mention, it was out of this world! The location is also excellent, in itself with the spectacular cliff top setting, but also a very good base to explore the north east of Madeira.

All rooms at the hotel feature cable TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Really nice hotel in a central location of Porto Moniz and has a small parking lot (probably gets busy quick in high season but there is paid lots nearby for 5 Euros a day). The pool on the top of the roof is lovely and has an amazing view. The room was really modern, with a balcony over looking the water and really clean. The breakfast was really nice. The staff was awesome, especially the woman who gave us our welcome drink and was working during breakfast. They also gave everyone a free bottle of sparkling wine on the first night.

Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a sauna. The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.8 km from Quinta das Palmeiras. Great hotel by a stunning beach. Rooms are perfect and the food (we had all inclusive) was delicious. Drinks at the pool bar are superb. Helpful and professional staff. The beach, the room and the breakfast are the highlights of this hotel… in that order! So I recommend it. This hotel has all the potential to be the best hotel in Porto Santo. However it is not quite there yet, it needs some improve in management and staff training (receptionists).

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Profetas GuestHouse is a recently renovated guest house situated in Porto Santo, 1.1 km from Porto Santo Beach. The property has city and quiet street views, and is 4.1 km from Quinta das Palmeiras. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We really enjoy our time at Profetas Guesthouse. They offer pick-up and drop-off for 5€/pers from and to the ferry terminal which is really nice and their communication was excellent ! The rooms were clean, spacious, really comfortable and the breakfast was so delicious and generous. They also offer to rent some quads with them for a very affordable price which we did and it was a great way to discover the island. And the host were just amazing. They were nice, thoughtful, always giving us recommendations on what to visit, where to go and to eat. They went above and beyond to make our stay at their place a fantastic experience. I truly recommend this place.

Situated in São Jorge, 6.9 km from Santana's Traditional Houses, Villa Alta Vista features rooms with garden views and free WiFi. With mountain views, this accommodation features a terrace. The country house has family rooms. We had an absolutely wonderful time at this apartment in the northern part of Madeira – my personal favorite area of the island. It’s perfectly located, with some of the most scenic hikes just a short drive away, and only about 25 minutes from the airport. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the house and garden are lovingly maintained with a lot of care and attention to detail. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and clean, with a truly unique view over the ocean – it felt like staying at a private miradouro. Our host, Sabino, was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. As a lovely personal touch, he even surprised us with a basket of fresh fruit and some flowers from his garden. If you're planning a trip to Madeira, look no further. Sabino, muito obrigado!
