But at La Maison Joly I was treated like family immediately, this was very special for me. The home feels historic and original (while also being comfortable) and makes guests feel like they are really experiencing what life was (and still is) like in provincial France.

I would definitely want to stay here again when I come to the area.

The accommodation was incredible! Felt like you were staying at a dear friend who has thoughtfully prepared their place for you. Not only was it clean and cosy, but there was everything we might have needed, including the washing machine with Marseille soap, hairdryer, stove, coffee machine, all sorts of dishes, condiments, spices, coffee, tea, etc. The fragile decor was glued to the surface to be child-proof! The host was friendly and caring.

We often come across wonderful properties with potential, but it is rare to find somewhere as special as this. If you are in the area, I would also suggest staying at Domaine Les Martins, closer to Gordes, which makes a perfect combination. David and Régis are outstanding hosts, and if you are lucky enough to find a room, you must experience their level of service. Together, these two properties offer an experience every bit as good as Airelles Gordes, La Bastide, but with far more local charm.
