Rachid is just the most amazing person ever. It felt like staying at a friend's place. He has created a piece of heaven where you reconnect with nature and with yourself. It's a great place to come with kids. they have tons of things to discover and animals to play with. And Rachid is very good with children. They really loved him from the start.

I had a really nice stay here and Otman was very helpful. The views from the rooftop while having breakfast were lovely. The breakfast was lovely, the soft cheese, mint tea and olive oil were delicious. The facilities are basic but are fine for a short stay.
The location may not be ideal for families with young children.

The staff are absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, even when we asked for a bit too much mint tea. We were nervous about our first trip as a family with our 8 month old baby but our time in chefchaouen was heaven due to the hospitality of Dar Elrio. Yessin and his colleagues were all very accommodating, kind and made us feel at home. Breakfast was so healthy and delicious as well, and they kindly agreed to clean my baby’s food pots too.
