This place is absolutely amazing. The setting in the forest is so magical, it was raining but that added to the magic, with the sounds of the rain and the birds. We had such a relaxing stay and Hisae was a wonderful host. There was so much attention to detail with welcome drinks in the fridge, local snacks in the room and fresh roses everywhere. Hisae cooked us a really delicious dinner which we ordered in advance and breakfast was incredible too, so much food, so many different flavours and a lovely selection of teas. Hisae was a great guide for the local area. We really recommend this place if you’re looking for a really special and relaxing time.

A hotel right in the heart of Yanbaru National Park . even though it only has three stars but it feels luxurious. The best shower I’ve ever had. dinner and breakfast we’re both very nice and properly served. free laundry is a bonus.

Very traditional without limiting on comforts. Wonderful to be right inside an Okinawa village. Villagers so welcoming and kind. Host is exceptional so helpful and generous. Beach is only a few meters away and the swimming was glorious.

The staff at the resort did such a fantastic job of making us comfortable, and welcomed and pampered. The location was beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of the south side of the island. The grounds and buildings were immaculate, the bathrooms were outstanding, like having a spa in every room. The restaurants were phenomenal in offering selection, quality and interest. The Japanese restaurant in particular (Iju) offered fascinating and delicious food, like we had nowhere else in Japan at beyond reasonable prices. I would recommend the resort to anyone, we had the most fantastic time.
