Everything was perfect. Hotel japanese style is amazing. Delicious breakfast with both Japanese and western continental options. Free noodles in the evening. Onsen was very good. Staff was really helpful.

Service was great - reception helped us to make reservations for day trips, and arrange for our luggage to be sent to the next hotel. The afternoon and late night snacks were a welcome treat as well. The rooms were clean and well designed. The theme was a nice touch - with Bach music being played, musical motifs all around the hotel decor, and the scents in the lobby. Public baths on the top floor were clean and good.

One of my best experiences in Japan. The hotel sites inside The JR Sendai station, it's very convenient when using the shinkansen or the metro.The hotel is close to everything you need - shops, restaurants, convenient stores. The rooms are huge, nicely decorated and very comfortable, The bathtub was really big, probably the biggest I saw in Japan. I was given a room on the floor before the last and I had a gorgeous view of Sendai. The staff is super nice and polite and helps you with everything with a smile. The buffet is one of the best I ever had in Japan and I went to lots of buffets in Japan. Everything's was so delicious and the selection was really huge, especially the mashed potato, tofu and Miyagi vegetables, it was really the best. If you have the choice don't miss the buffet, it was really worth it. Thank you so much, I will definitely return!

I had such a great time at Umebachi. The owner is a lovely person and I enjoyed the original Japanese radio gymnastics each morning. :) There were many different people to talk to and the whole guesthouse had a nice and welcoming atmosphere.

One of the most charming Ryokan stay in Sendai. Property is very traditional style, gorgeous huge room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. They served delicious Kaiseki meals , seasonal produce. We enjoyed our onsen experience in the privacy of our room.

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
