very excellent experience of staying in this house. the hosts are very kind couple. We arrived late, it was already dark, the host walked downstairs greeting us. Show us all the facility to us. They are really kind-hearted people. It is so warm and considerate. the house is very spacious, tidy and cozy, with good facility and kitchen ware.

Even after reading all the previous, raving reviews, we were still very positively surprised - the apartment really has more than everything we could possibly need. Another “magical” plus, even with self-check in & out (by definition cold and person-less), Lucy somehow made it have a human touch. The description was exact but no words can describe the exquisite design nor the landscape. It is an experience like no other. My 18 year old daughter and I stayed in an artists cottage and from the moment we spotted the property, we knew it was special. The communication and directions were excellent so our arrival and check in were seemless. It is pricey, but it deserves to be.

We reached the hotel quite late but easy checkin with friendly staff. Cosy room with a wide bathroom. We loved the hot bath available in the evening and we had the chance to spot our first Aurora 🤩. The breakfast was great, wide choice of food and very nice setting around the hotel. As well very well located from the North towards Reykjavík and to visit Reykholt areas.
