Super value for money, warm welcome from the lovely host family, very comfortable beds, great shower, excellent breakfast, funny cats and lovely dog. Convenient location within walking distance along lake Muckno to the Main Street in Castleblaney with a selection of cafes, shops and bars. A 5min drive to the Restaurant “The View“ which has a stunning outlook over the lake and fantastic food. We would highly recommend staying here. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We love the Riverbank, have been going for a few years and never been disappointed. A nice quiet getaway with great food and lovely staff.

Very clean and very warm , just perfect. We had dinner in the Courthouse restaurant so it was so convenient. Alfies Little Townhouse was dog friendly which let us bring our pet with us.

The hosts were really accommodating and friendly. Pat replied really quickly. Very nicely set room - had the basic equipment in the kitchen and had a big TV which was nice.

Everything was perfect from the start. Sabina and David were so lovely and could not do enough for us to make our stay fantastic. I happened to tell Sabina it was our anniversary and when we arrived at our accommodation, Sabina had a bottle of bubbly on ice to celebrate. We also had our dog Bear with us and she was allowed to go everywhere. Not something you will find in a 'dog friendly' hotel. Do yourself and that someone special in your life a favour and book this place. You will not be sorry. Until next time Sabina and David!
