The property is super convenient to the waterfront but feels quiet and private.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The staff were the soul of the hotel and my stay - everyone was helpful, competent, friendly and always available but not intrusive. Excellent service by fabulous staff.

The location, service , and room was excellent. Separate sleeping, bath, and sitting areas. The bathroom and walk in shower was very large. My husband was able to use the separate sitting area at night to surf the internet and not disturb my sleep. We felt safe with the security guard presence in the courtyard when we returned from the V&A Waterfront at nights.
Situated within the Marina Residential Estate, 401 Dovenby is located in the V&A Waterfront. This luxurious apartment is set within a 15-minute walk of Cape Town International Convention Centre.

The host, Thando was super amazing and on point. Very responsive to all our inquiries and super warm and welcoming. We felt at home immediately. The location was PERFECT, short walk to the waterfront and the security at the residence was super top notch! We honestly felt very safe and secure here. The views from Thando’s place were also divine. You get to see table mountain from the kitchen side and the canal from the living room side. We really enjoyed staying here. Just perfect.

The whole property has been renovated and looks fantastic. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the harbour and table mountain. Staff were all very nice and you can’t beat the location for the V&A. Lots of Lovely little touches for Christmas around the hotel with a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived.

Located at the Waterfront area, it is a short walk to the shopping and dining at the Waterfront. Its in a very safe area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a nice view of the table mountain and Waterfront. The breakfast was really good too. I had left an item in my room when I went to the airport and the security and concierge promptly arranged for it to be delivered to the airport. Thank you so much!
