We were in for one night only, choosing to overnight in Cape Town, having flown in late and planning to leave early for the Cederberg. Unbelievably, for an "international" airport, there is nothing in close proximity, and the logical thing to do- head off to the N1 or along the N2- is not something I'd risk late at night. So, off to Newlands we went. The hotel is fine. Big rooms, comfortable beds, decent bathrooms and clean. The breakfast was better than average. Staff were helpful and friendly. It served its purpose admirably, and we departed well rested and well fed.
