I loved everything about this place! The staff was super kind, helpful and welcoming. They always support with a smile. Rooms were beautiful, big, clean and comfortable. The food is great quality and variety. The pool was also nice. They also give you the opportunity to use their towels at the beach for free and have a shuttle for the beach. The position is great as you can reach the old town in a few minutes walk (roughly 5 minutes). Lovely place, highly recommended!!!

Lion King has been our favorite hotel by far during our 3 weeks in Vietnam, we absolutely loved our stay! Flower and Robert were the most friendly and helpful hosts - they went out of their way to make us feel at home and look after us. They checked in with us everyday, provided great recommendations, helped us book activities and even gave us Banh Mi and Vietnamese sweets when we left so we wouldn’t get hungry on our travels. The hotel location, rooms and pool were great too - it was easy walking distance to all of the main sites and a short grab/scooter to the beach. Definitely stay here when in Hoi An, we couldn’t recommend more highly!!

The hotel is on a quiet part of town. It isn't in the center of the bar area but it's very walkable to just about anything that you might want to do. The breakfast food was very good and we were really happy with the atmosphere at the breakfast buffet. We arrived quite late and check-in was no problem. The room we got had a balcony that overlooked the garden, the pool and the surrounding rooftops. The shower was nice with good water pressure, space and hot water.

It’s the kind of place where making friends comes naturally—there’s a great atmosphere, cozy spaces, and the energy just invites connection. The breakfast was excellent every morning, with lots of care put into the details.
What really makes this hostel stand out is the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful, but I especially want to mention Jenny—she truly goes above and beyond. She remembers guests by name, checks in to make sure you’re comfortable, and has a way of making you feel like you’re not just a visitor, but part of something warm and familiar. She’s a big reason this place feels like a home away from home.
