I was very lucky to have a 4-bunk room all to myself, and it came with a private bathroom/shower accessible within the room, other guests informed me they had to use the bathroom at the end of the hall. For $47 a night i felt this was very worth it, the place felt clean. they left the sheets for me to put on myself. They had soap and shampoo in the shower and a cleaning lady came in every day to clean the bathroom. I joined a free pub crawl put on by the hostel and had an amazing time! The room is pretty well insulated and has a heater if needed. The location is a little loud at night bc it’s right on the line of the tenderloin - a not so savory area - but nothing that kept me up or made me feel unsafe in my comings & goings

The Kensington Park Hotel was very good, I enjoyed the fancy house and the large old-style elevators with the benches. The location close to Union Square was ideal to reach everything like the Cable Cars. The room was good, the beds were large and comfy and the bath was clean. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the morning bar with hot chocolate and cookies. Overall we had a great stay and value for money was perfect.

Everything!! From the impressive lobby full of so many moments celebrating our Heros, to the incredible friendly staff, it was wonderful. 2 blocks from Union Square, a big room complete with fridge, coffee maker, robes, everything you could need. The restaurant and bar were great and the full breakfast (included with your room), was hot, plentiful with many options to suit all individual tastes. Well done Everyone and we can't wait to be back.

Excellent, very clean . Few of the staff were less helpful ( less informed).Others were excellent hence compensated. Location is good surrounded by good food restaurants. Beautiful decorations inside . Strongly recommend for families / solo travelers to stay.
