This is a lovely place to stay. Old town is a very nice area that is close to the bus and tram system so that you can easily visit many other areas if you want. The hotel itself is very nice with all the amenities that you need, and very lovely people. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived earlier than check-in and the front desk representative was able to get us into a room. This allowed us more time to explore Old Town San Diego. She was so friendly and provided us with information on thing to see and do. We loved the area, hotel and all the amenities it provides its guest. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends and family.

Dee who greeted us upon arrival was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The room we were allocated was amazing with a big copper roll top bath. Decor was great for age of hotel and extremely clean.

I've stayed in various hostels in the past but never did I stay at a hostel that offered so much to its residents. The staff was immensely friendly and helpful, the hostel cute and colourful. I particularly enjoyed the back terrace where we could have breakfast or enjoy the still warm evening air. I felt safe from the level of security put in place, and all the utensils (in the kitchen) and the beach commodities (towels, surf boards, etc) put at our disposition made the hostel feel welcoming and full of adventures. Plus it was really clean! The location is great if you want a beach holiday, but there are many buses that would take you to the town centre, and the airport.
