The room was very nice, it had everything we needed, a dog park out back and the most friendly property manager ever; whom also makes the best percolated not instant coffee. The atmosphere was great with many guests our age, i highly recommend the Malibu resort motel, to anyone looking for a clean quiet and friendly place to stay,

We were in town for a Lacrosse Tournament and decided to spend an extra day at the beach. It just so happened that it coincided with the Sand Castle building weekend. The motel was convenient, which added to our experience. The whole thing was fantastique.
