We booked two nights to visit Monterey & Carmel. The photos don't do this place justice - First it looked like a small B&B and then like a motel - which it is neither - it's a great, friendly and comfortable hotel with large comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. The breakfast is great, they have relatively cheap parking and the location is great - a few minutes walk to Cannery Row, Monterey Bay Aquarium, restaurants (we'd recommend Hulas Island Grill), and a 15 minute drive to Carmel & 17 mile drive. Would absolutely recommend this place - such great value.

We stayed the “Partial Ocean View” room, but it was not “partial” and the view from the room was pretty good! And then, we asked this accommodation to prepare a crib for our little baby, and it was clean and useful.

Very modern and creative vibe. Nice staff and good equipped kitchen. The room was spaceous and clean. Location near Cannary Road was absolutely spot on.

Location is excellent, close to the beach and Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel has clearly made an effort to update and new paint, carpets etc have clearly improved the experience. Lovely little balcony and some nice open seated common areas. Didn't need to use the air conditioning as the supplementary fireplace was exceptional in maintaining a perfect temperature. Check in and out were very quick with online options available.
