Location is terrific! The closest hotel to Universal, it has some up/down hills while getting there but it's a 10min walk, perfect for park people or whoever wants to go to Universal City to walk around or grab a bite. The room is super spacious and the bathroom too, everything was very clean and the bed was soooo comfy, makes it difficult to actually leave it! Highlight for me though was the view *-* Universal City lights during the night are so beautiful and being able to see Hogwarts, Hogsmead and other places inside the park was a big plus, I was happy just looking out the window.
Oh the hairdryer was terrific too! Out of 4 hotels we stayed in LA it was the only one with the narrower nozzle, it made my hair look great haha my hairdryer doesn't work in the US (different voltage) so I depend on hotel's hairdryer and this was one the best!

The experience at the Sunset Marquis was extraordinarily in all points: the staff was fantastic and make you feel at home, the villas are exquisit, the location couldn't be better and the restaurant is world class. Not to speak of the Gardens sourding it, which are a place to rewind, relax and find peace in the middle of LA. We will return soon.

The welcoming as soon as we arrived was unprecedented. We were treated like royalty, with the staff matching the beautifully unique aesthetic perfectly. As first timer’s in LA, the advice we were given about where to visit near the area was absolutely perfect - it felt like getting advice from locals. The room was absolutely stunning, with even smaller details like the hand / body wash being magnificently elegant. The decor, atmosphere, and experience as a whole was incredible.
