Hotel staff! They were all amazing - nice, cheerful and helpful. Especially Jack. The room was also very nice - nicely decorated and clean. There was a clean and pretty bathroom and a comfy bed. The hotel itself was also pretty neat and nice looking, with a nice restaurant and a bar with a great view. The neighborhood was also great with close vicinity to the ferry.

Spotless clean everywhere. Super friendly staff. Safe neighbourhood, 5 min walk to Bedford Ave subway, 3 stops to 14st Union Square Manhattan. 10 min walk to East River ferry and promenade. Lot of restaurants around. We decided for bunk beds which gave us more space in the room. Not a big issue that the toilet is near the shower. Try Just Salad, clean and tasty around the corner on Driggs Ave.

The hotel was very clean , the room spacious, the personnel always nice at the front desk. We didn't try the restaurant so I can't say anything on that. There are 3 or 4 metro stations very close by and thoe hotel is right accross a bridge so it made it so easy and quick to get to Manhattan. We loved the little robes and slippers.
