The location is great - it's easy to reach using the public transport and lots of famous sights are withing walking distance. Midtown East probably isn't the most romantic location NY has to offer but it's a very safe one, even late at night, and that's definitely a big plus. The staff was very helpful and the rooms are pretty spacious and very clean. We had a nice view of Top of the Rock from our room. The windows also blocked most of the noise coming from the busy nearby avenues. The bathrooms are equipped with hi-tech "Japanese" toilets - this was my first close encounter with one of these and now I totally want one in my home bathroom as well :)

The location was perfect, close to the subway, diners/breakfast, walking distance to Times square, Central park, Rockefeller center, fifth avenue etc. We had a family room with mini kitchen, it was perfect and with lots of free coffee. Very comfortable beds. Very nice staff.
