Marcus' place offers outstanding value for the price. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bedroom is equipped with a huge TV screen for ultimate relaxation. The room was spacious, renovated, large bed, quiet, the staff of the hotel was very kind, professional and helpful. We asked to change the room and they delivered my request. The bathroom was also clean and nicely renovated.

Every single interaction with the staff at the Ludlow was 10/10. Always super responsive, even before we arrived. Better service than I've had in 5-star hotels – these folks are just consistently on the ball. Great location, tucked away on a street with loads of cool shops and restaurants – short walk to Soho/other cool areas. 24/7 room service serving actually amazing food. (Try the hummus and pita for a quick snack!)

The only meal we ate at the hotel, in the Half Moon Cafe, was our daily breakfast. It was very filling and tasty. The staff at the hotel were very efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The location was great for walking to many sights in Manhattan. There were metro stations close by as well. The hotel had many safety measures i.e. safe in room, elevator use only with room key, etc. However the area in general is safe to walk around during the day and evening.
