We stayed here for 4 fabulous nights early October, after a couple of nights in Stonetown and a safari on Tanzania and Kenya! We were so glad we picked this resort due to it's location, size of the resort and value for money! Jambiani is an authentic village in Zanzibar, with seaweed farming, right outside the resort on the beach, so you can have a taste of the true culture. However this does not take away any comforts or luxury from the resort - all the rooms are situated around this amazing pool, which then had views of the beach. The staff were amazing, and the food was excellent! You also had alternative restaurants just short walks up the beach. Make sure you go for a sail and/or snorkel with "Mr Coconut" on a traditional dhow.

The location of the hotel was perfect, couldnt have been better. The private beach and pool is great. Staff is so friendly and kind, always want to help. The restaurant has amazing quality food. It is a tropical paradise - better than the pics! Would def go back!

I like every single thing about this hotel. Food, environment, the staff...never seen anything like that. Always super kind, generous and lovely. I was in different hotels in Zanzibar and for me this is the best by far.

Zanzistar is located in one of the most beautiful beaches in the island, far from the chaos in the north part. The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach and has a great relaxing vibe. The common area is super comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was very good always with an option of a local dish. Staff was very careful and Peter, the owner, was of great help suggesting some things to do around the island during our stay. They have a cathalog full of suggestions as well and can book it directly for you. Our stay was amazing! Super recommended!

The vibe of this place is so special. This is such a nice and chill place. The food is so good and tasty. Celina as a manager is so nice. Coco is the best tourist guide and he arranged all the trips and we had a great time. Asante sana !!! Hope to see you again

An amazing location, right on Jambiani beach, which is beautiful. There is a substanstial breakfast and food available throughout the day. Its the little touches that make this place amazing - the pot to rinse sand off your feet, the 2 bottles of water provided each day for cleaning teeth etc., staff coming at sunset to spray the room against the mosquitoes. The staff are amazing and super helpful. There is a kayak you can use for free to go and paddle out on the ocean but otherwise its fine just to relax on the loungers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Jambiani.

Situated along the white, sand Jambiani Beach, Blue Oyster Hotel features sun loungers along the beach with thatched Makuti parasols. There is also a rooftop restaurant and a beach bar.

I loved it all. Wonderful location, excellent service and very comfortable rooms. I was looking for a place to relax. Booked 4 nights and stayed a week. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is amazing and everything is prepared for you to lay back and enjoy while listeningto the sound of nature (I really appreciate they don't play music neither offer loud activities). The swimming pool is a great extra, as the tide varies a lot (that is what makes Jambiani so special). I hired the snorkeling tour with Capitan Zapi and it was lovely. I also loved the restaurant: great choices and not overpriced. I definitely want to come back next year.

It’s a lovely hotel with warm, attentive hospitality that easily accommodates last-minute plans, including trips to beautiful spots on the island. The candlelight dinner in the cozy, inviting atmosphere made our stay truly memorable :)
