We travelled in May and stayed in Junior Suite 7, which was beautiful and had a stunning view of the Blue Mosque. The room was clean, spacious, and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and very rich, with lots of sweet and savory options. We also enjoyed a discount at the Lotus Restaurant & Café, which was very convenient. The hotel is close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Topkapı Palace, and Gülhane Park. The tram stop to Galata Tower and the Asian side is just 2 minutes away. The area is full of cafés, restaurants, and shops. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. They were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to give suggestions on what to see or where to eat. Every time we came back to the hotel, they would greet us with a smile and ask about our day, which made us feel really cared for. We also arranged round-trip airport transfers through the hotel, and on the morning of our early departure, they kindly prepared a breakfast for us at 3:30 am — once again, with a smile. Besides the location and great service, what actually convinced us to book this hotel was a review that criticized the staff for being “too friendly.” That review actually convinced us to book the hotel. For us, being “too friendly” was exactly what we were looking for. It’s wonderful to feel at home and to meet new people when you travel. The hotel's location is perfect for visiting all the main attractions just around the corner. The room was modern, spacious, very clean, and comfortable. A bonus was the nice breakfast and soundproof rooms. The staff was super welcoming and helpful, going the extra mile for your pleasant stay. Lots of cosy restaurants and shops are just around. Perfect place to stay in Istambul. In the middle of the Spice Market but really quiet and calm place. In front of ferries decks and galatta bridge. Staff always alert and helpful. Big room, confortable and with all the amenities. Breakfast was glorious. I hope to come back to istambul and stay again ar the Mest.
