The staff was so helpful (beyond anything else due to their English skills!). They were always friendly and with good advice on the local area. On top of that the leftovers from breakfast were kept in a fridge so even after breakfast there were snacks, e.g. fruit and (highly recommend the) sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves. Also coffee, tea and water in glass bottles from the fridges were always accessible and for free.

The staff were so sweet, kind, caring and helpful. I fell on a motorbike and one staff called.for help and then also cleaned my wounds. She brought me ice and offered to keep helping at any time. All were ready and willing to help, provide suggestions, offer assistance etc... I would come back to Thailand just for this experience again.

Very nice and clean apartment and friendly host. Check in and check out only in specific times, as this is not a hotel with 24/7 service. Close to center , some basic shops nearby. Nothing to complain about. Cheaper than hotels offering the same comfort.

This youth hostel is located near Chiang Mai Gate, just a 15-minute walk away. The Chiang Mai Night Market is also held at Chiang Mai Gate in the evenings, creating a lively atmosphere. It's a great place to eat and shop at night. The hostel is housed in a building with a very artistic vibe. From the building, it’s clear that the owner is someone with a story to tell. Check-in time is strictly at 2 p.m., so if you arrive earlier, you won't be able to get your room key. However, you can store your luggage and must wait until 2 p.m. to check in. The building has three floors. The first floor is a large public space where you can make friends and eat. There is no elevator, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you need to be cautious. It can be a bit inconvenient if you're carrying a suitcase like I was. The bed I booked is in a mixed 8-bed dorm on the third floor. The bed is very large, and I believe it's big enough for two people to sleep comfortably. Each bed has a privacy curtain, and when it's pulled down, it feels like a little world of its own. The curtain’s shading effect is good, although you can still see some light outside when it’s drawn. By the way, the hostel provides lockers on the second floor, but you need to arrive early to see if there’s an available space. You will need to bring your own lock. No matter which youth hostel you stay in, always keep your valuables with you. The economy isn't great, and there are some bad people around, so always be mindful of your safety when going out. Additionally, the bedding here is very comfortable and clean. The duvet is a bit thin, but if you wear long clothes like I did, you won't feel cold. On the third floor, there is only one bathroom, and the toilet and shower are combined, though the wet and dry areas are separated. There are two showers on the second floor, so if there are many people, you can use those instead.
