The staff was extremely polite, helpful and kind. The beds are very comfortable. The shower was great, as well as the rest of the room facilities. The breakfast had a very nice variety of dishes and was really tasty. The location is excellent as it's a nice walk to the town centre, as well as around the lake.

Carman House is a fantastic place to stay in Lake Bled, best location across from where Pletna boats leave with fantastic view from my room. Free parking a bonus. A kettle with a variety of tea etc a bonus. The restaurant next door had some of the best food

The location was excellent. Just a few minutes walk from all the main bars and restaurants in Bled. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They even gave us an upgrade to a suite with no additional charges. The suite had amazing views of the lake, and equipped with a 65 inch TV not in hotel mode so one could enjoy streaming a movie from his own Netflix/HB/Amazon Account. Breakfast was amazing and although it was served (not self service), staff did not hesitate to bring us additional servings. Also, the hotel has free parking which was a big plus. Definitely would stay again if return to Bled anytime soon.

Everything was excellent- we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Room was amazing with magical view of the lake (we were even upgraded to the suite by the hotel!). Staff were all kind and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a huge variety and even a la carte options. Nothing to complain about.. would love to visit again!

Amazing place to visit — it feels like a summer camp for adults! The atmosphere is very peaceful, almost as if you’re living in the forest, but with all the comfort of modern amenities. Our daughter loved our house, which was set a bit higher than the others, so we had to use the stairs. We especially enjoyed the hot tub on our terrace. Being surrounded by nature feels like meditation — it truly allows you to disconnect and relax. We really enjoyed our stay! You can also rent bikes and ride to Lake Bled, which takes about 20 minutes. We did a full circle around the lake and came back, which was wonderful. Breakfast was also very good. I can definitely recommend this place!

Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

We were greeted very warmingly and given great tips on what to do on our one-day visit in Bled. As we were traveling during the low season, we were very generously given a free room upgrade. The room was nice, comfortable and clean.
