My name is Magdalena and I came from abroad with lots of important things to do in Bucharest. Thus, I needed an affordable accommodation in the center of Bucharest. I had been here before in the past 3 years, and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere that lets you work while you travel. Rooms are very spacious and clean, beds are comfortable, the receptionist is very affable. I will come back here again and again, my only regret is that I have too many places to travel and not enough time to spend here where I feel like home!

The Grand Hotel Continental is one of the nicest places we have stayed in for a long while, the large room was recently refurbished and the beds were very comfortable. Completely peaceful at night with great air conditioning, shower and bath, we had a very pleasant 4 night stay.
Having become a bit jaded over the years we were delighted to discover that room service was particularly good and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we tried.
The staff are great, unfailingly cheerful and helpful, we would like to particularly thank Mirela the Front Office Manager who really went out of her way to help us get some things organised in a very efficient and charming manner.
The hotel is perfectly located a few minutes from the heart of the old town and if you’re there at the weekend the street outside becomes a pedestrian boulevard on Saturday and Sunday where there are often musical happenings going on.
We have now stayed in quite a few hotels in Bucharest but we have now found our home and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in future.
