The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms were cozy and we enjoyed complete silence at night. Great amenities - the mini bar was complementary and always full and we got a new watter bottle everyday. They also changed the towels and cleaned the rooms daily. The breakfest has all the essentials you need and they always ask if you want an omelette or fried eggs that are not on display. Also, the bar was a very nice surprise - order the Sangria, you will not be disappointed!

Located in Lisbon's oldest part of the city, Alfama, and close to St Apolonia station, the apartment is a great base to explore the city on foot and by public transport. Obviously, you'll need to leave your (rental) car in a parking spot (e.g. Estacionamento Santa Apolónia Telpark, 8 EUR / day) because driving in Alfama is largely prohibited for non-local cars - and would be kind of a suicide mission in those narrow and steep alleys. The apartment itself is located in an authentic and somewhat run-down neighborhood and it takes around 10-15 mins to walk there from St Apolonia station. Add some extra if you have to drag your luggage ;-) Several "miradouros" (viewpoints) are nearby, such as Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Miradouro Senhora do Monte, and Miradouro de Graca which offer beautiful views especially at sunrise or sunset and are great places to chill. We were received by our host who was super-friendly and gave us such a warm welcome, showed us around in the clean and well-equipped apartment and gave us lots of info for our stay. Beds were super-comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was also very nice. We'd absolutely stay here again if we visit Lisboa again!

What a great location in Alfama, easy to find and quiet, despite being really close to the action. Ema is an amazing host, from prior to arrival she went out of her way to ensure we knew how to get there, and provided recommendations. Before we left she even offered to book us a taxi as we had such an early flight. We came via train from Porto and it was a five minute walk from Santa Apolonia. And flying out the airport is only 20 mins away in an Uber. The apartment is compact, but I think that is reflected in the price. It was clean, well appointed, and perfect for our needs. Lisbon is a great city, I can't wait to return and I'd certainly stay again the same place.
