The staff was really friendly, location is great, as hotel is right by the ocean. In the evening the sound od waves is the only thin one hears.
Self service buffet breakfast was great, there is a lot of choises. When weather was good, you can eat on the terrace. And semi circular room gives beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs near Funchal. Would come again!

The whole stay in the hotel was an exceptional experience.The expectations from the photos and reviews were high, but the reality even exceeded it. The staff was always kind, smiling, explained everything perfectly and was always helpful. My greatest admiration goes to the staff at the Rose Garden Restaurant, who even when they are busy around other guests, make your visit a unique moment. The half board accommodation was absolutely worth it. The breakfasts are rich in fresh food and the selection varied even slightly. Dinners consist of a three course menu and there is a choice in each course. However, the dining experience is beyond description, what a perfect interplay of flavours the local chefs are able to create. The cherry on top of our stay was the perfect area with nooks and crannies where one could sit and relax in peace. Madeira is a beautiful island, I would not have enjoyed my holiday so much without the quality and peaceful facilities. I will be happy to return.

We loved everything about the property. Our suit was spacious, clean, gorgeous views. As there are not too many suites it felt very private. We spent hours at the infinity pool and jacuzzi. It was a perfect after hike stay.

This property is an absolute gem. It’s super cozy, spacious and has everything you would need. It’s clean and has space for 1 car to park. There is space to park on the street if you’d need for a second car.
Sara is an amazing host, she helped us a lot and was super kind.

Property is at a great location. Nice apartments, having their own parking spot in the garage. Very clean and fully functional kitchen. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. We had a great time at the location. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear.
