The property is spacious, clean, and comfortable in a perfect location to access beautiful beaches and a selection of cafes and restaurants. It offers a sizeable family-friendly shared pool with lots of space and is in a peaceful area, perfect for what we wanted for our short family break. It was great to have a large balcony and 2 bathrooms, especially with a teenager in tow. There is even a small second balcony off the main bedroom, which was perfect for drying towels etc.

We were a family of 9 aged from 7 months to 77 years! We all had a fantastic time. The villa was spotless on arrival. The bedrooms were spacious, all with ensuite. Though the pool was not heated, it was perfectly acceptable and we all had a great time in it. It was a 5 minute walk to lovely Gale beach which we used several times. The local supermarket (Appollina) was just round the corner and was very well stocked but a little pricey (compared to Aldi about a 5 minute drive away). The guidebook provided by Check-in Portugal contained lots of useful information and they were easy to contact eg we ordered a cot, high-chair and 2 games which were all supplied. They also agreed to extend our check-out time by 2 hours.

The complimentary breakfast was really very nice. We came from the Epic Sana so we had been a bit spoiled (their breakfast was really excellent)- Gale was a smaller version and they had an omelet and crepe maker which was nice. The check in at Gale was absolutely 💯- Louisa was very attentive and informative. We were delighted to come to our room and find some bubbly and chocolate strawberries after telling her we were celebrating something special. This is a very quiet resort and great for couples.

We spent 9 nights in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is situated few minutes from the beach. Everybody was so nice and profesional. We got room with the view to the swimming pools, it was very spacious and clean. Food was delicious. Indoor swimming pool was clean and warm. You can also play table tennis or use playground there. Our stay was great and we were very satisfied.

Great location for beaches, restaurants, and beautiful walks. Villa itself is extremely well kitted out, with plenty of kitchen equipment, towels and the like. Everything clean, and pool was great. Highly recommend Pizza restaurant behind the villa, as well as Zimzala cafe (best coffee in Galé).

Everything you need with an amazing location. Close to cafe, close to the beach but quiet. Super tidy and clean.

Great and friendly staff, the rooms were perfect and so comfortable. We had their half board option and there were so many different and tasty options each day. The pool was very clean and from the backyard there is a door that is 300 meters away from the beach.

We loved everything about our stay at homeboat, from the check-in process, when Max meets us personally and gives clear instructions to the amazing location and great tiny home experience on the water My husband , me, and our 15 years old son stayed for one night, and we didn't want to leave The house is super clean and equipped with everything you need.
