Great breakfast which set us up for wandering around the extensive Christmas Markets. Staff at the hotel were excellent, very friendly. The room was large, quiet and spotlessly clean and there was a huge bathroom with a great shower. There was a really nice bar area downstairs. We couldn't find fault with anything.

From the moment we entered the lobby was everything just perfect. The Receptionist showed us on a map his favorite Cafés and places to visit, he was super friendly but professional. The weekend in Hotel Monopol was a birthday surprise for my bf and there was a little present in the room for him, we've got a little surprises on our bed every evening, it was just so friendly! The absolute Highlight was the whirpool bathtub. Ah, and they use L'occitane products, which made us even more comfortable because we love the label. We are already trying to squeeze a free weekend to our work schedules because we are definitely coming back. Oh and the cocktails in hotel bar are top!!!
