I was in this hotel for the second time.
When you come to Nepal for trekking, normally you fly to Kathmandu.
Here you can buy clothes and gear for the trek.
This hotel is in central location in Thamel, where are the shops and restaurants as well.
Only good things to say about the hotel; rooms, WiFi, breakfast and staff are excellent.
There is even a scale in the reception to weigh your bags and yourself, too !

I had a lovely room. The next day I wanted to go to Pokhara. The hotel organised my trip to Pokhara ......... I was only there for two nights. They organised my trip back 2 days later. When I came back I asked for a room with a balcony .... thought they might charge me more—no same rate. There are excellent restaurants around and if you are a shopaholic it is the place to stay. Thamel, Karma Hotel is situated in this area. Could have chosen a better area. Thank you Karma Hotel staff. Lovely fresh coffee available all day. Love it

The staff were very nice and helpful. They even lend us umbrella when it rains. They never forget to tidy the room daily. The daily breakfast was great. The location is terrific. It is close to souvenir shops, restaurants and bars, stores and Chayya Center.
