You feel like in a luxurious resort and not a hostel. Its incredibly clean, they clean the dorms everyday and it smells amazing, they also change bed linen and towels every second day. The dorms a big with spacious locker for your bag, the bed is super comfy and has power sockets, little table and a lamp. The pool is clean and almost always in a shade so you can chill there. I recently stayed at Swell Shacks for one night and had an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The design of the hotel is simply stunning and perfectly complements the beautiful environment. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and having the beach right in front of our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a variety of options. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sights. I had such a wonderful time that I will definitely be coming back in the future. I highly recommend Swell Shacks for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Special mention for Gayantha and Madushanka, always smiling, very welcoming and helpful, they definitely make our stay even better 😃 !

Fantastic location on the beach. We were able to walk the whole way along the shore to Coconut Tree Hill and continue onto Turtle Beach, and then Mirissa Beach. The room was comfortable and had a nice balcony. Staff were great and went out of their way to help. Great value for money.
