Luxurious hostel at a great location. They have nice staff. It was perfect for the quick stopover I needed :)

We were upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. So spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.. Great variety, really fresh and beautifully cooked. The restaurant staff were really attentive and helpful. The restaurant manager was particularly helpful and engaging, giving us all kinds of tips and information about Colombo and travelling in sri lanka. We had a lovely stay.

Location, perfect to explore vibrant city. They have all facilities needed: exchange office, shops. Very nice swimming pool and lots of restaurants and bars around the lake. Very easy to explore surrounding area from the hotel by tuk tuk.

The host was SUPER helpful, super nice and friendly, he came to pick me up at the train station on arrival and helped me organised the taxi to the airport. I had a a late flight at night and he allowed me to leave my bags and even have a nice shower use the common bathroom before leaving. It was really appreciated. I recommand 100% ! The location is also great, i walked all around. Very closed to pettah market!

I had very good experience, my room was silent, no disturbing from the street or pubs( like was writing in another ratings), I had small window in back of building, calm, very good for sleep. I need to travel by train next day and the hotel is 10 min by feet from Fort train station away. Staff excellent and helpful.

It’s difficult to pinpoint just one thing that made my stay exceptional, which, in my opinion, is a sure sign that the Hilton Colombo has the right balance across the board. Check in was seamless, my room was 1615, I was graciously upgraded, so my humble thanks to reception for this. The room itself was spacious, with a fantastic, huge, and super-comfy bed. The TV had English channels (a definite plus!),the view was fabulous. Plenty of complimentary water, a fresh fruit bowl was delivered shortly after I arrived. The room also had an iron and board, and for the first time ever in my travels, I noticed oxygen face masks provided in case of fire. Bonus points to Hilton for that thoughtful health and safety measure. But what truly made my stay so special was the staff. I have genuinely never stayed at a hotel where the team was this warm, professional, and kind. I have to mention a few people by name because they absolutely deserve it. Dinesh in the lounge, I take my hat off to this man. With over 30 years at Hilton, he embodies the very best of hospitality. He couldn’t do enough for me. During one of our chats, I remembered it was my birthday (which I had genuinely forgotten myself due to travel and timezones!). Unbeknownst to me, Dinesh contacted the Duty Manager, Mr. Dinindra, and the Guest Relations Manager, Ms. Zainab. Within ten minutes, both managers, along with Dinesh and the lovely Kiara, appeared at my table singing “Happy Birthday” and presenting me with an incredible cake. It was such a touching moment. I often see guests treat hotel staff poorly, as if they’re beneath them. My advice, engage with the staff genuinely, without attitude or pretence. When you connect on a human level, the service you receive will exceed every expectation. My experience here is proof of that. Who really cares what the price of a coffee of beer costs in the hotel, honestly it doesnt matter. You simply cant put a price on this level of warmth, kindness and professionalism.
