/ easy to contact by messages. Very reactive.
/ WE were transported by car from the station (200m walk) very convenient when you have many luggages.
/ you feel special from the start to the finish. The personnel were very classy, helpful, polite.
/ We had the suite with the private onsen. It was a surprise to discover also a private sauna and massage chair. The luxuary in that room is incredible. Worth every yen (and we are not the kind of people that spend much on hotels, it was a luxuary that we granted ourselves for a special occasion and it made it very special)
/ the breakfast Is top class japanese cuisine
/ i recommand getting thé dinner (full kaiseki course). Master class delights. We had a proper private dining room for ourselves (i think included with the suit).
/ the private onsen... Excellent with a good view.
/ yudanaka IS a very nice village

The onsens were absolutely incredible – this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Easy access to the train station and Snow Monkey Park. Beautiful facilities and warm and friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast had great vegetarian options, and service was brilliant. High quality yukatas and tabi socks to chill out in when enjoying complimentary tea in the lounge. Overall fantastic experience.

We only spent one night there to visit Snow Monkey Park - we wished we had stayed longer. Great location, just a 5 min walk from the station. We had clean good sized room, and the outdoor onsen was great with snow falling as we relaxed. Dinner was also at the onsen and we weren’t disappointed by the kaiseki style meal. To top it off one of the owners will drop you off at the entrance to monkey park and pick you up as well. We had a great stay.
