This was an amazing onsen house. Located very close to the JR terminal station (3 min walk). The open air onsen is superb and we have enjoyed every single minute inside. The room is super spacious - I would even say the biggest we have ever had during our stay in Japan - you get free mochi, hot water, green tee ingredients every day. They even replaced the linens and towels after 1 night. The staff is very nice and helpful. They called a gas station for me, which charged us more than they should. There is an attached parking lot for free. The whole accommodation is a traditional onsen house with tatami floor. The stay was very nice and enjoyable. And not only due to the superb onsen inside. I highly recommend this!

It was a great, quality hotel with wonderful little extras like the rooftop onsen and sake bar. The breakfasts were exceptional- so many fantastic things to try, and delivered with such care. The deluxe family room was very spacious for a family of five.

Amazing property with even more amazing staff. We stayed for two night during our honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with the experience. It was an authentic yet luxurious Ryokan. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotless and it even had its own onsen. The food was exceptional and the staff was very well trained and extremely friendly. Highly recommended this hotel and would love to go back on day.

Hosts are extremely friendly, drove us to the monkey park and also to the airport after our stay. Room and entire experience was amazing! The home cooked dinner and breakfast were also outstanding. There are two onsens which switch genders at 9pm each night so you can try both, they are extremely nice after a long day out.

Nice traditional Japanese rooms and onsen under open sky. Hospitable staff that provided transport to Snow Monkeys and back to train station. Definitely would stay again. You get too much for the price
