Beautiful inn. Right in the middle of Shibu Onsen - and grants you access to the key to do the onsen tour there. And when you’re done, there is a beautiful private onsen on site to enjoy as long as you’d like. This was the highlight of our trip!

Everything was perfect! The staff was incredibly kind, came to pick me up at the station and then offered to take me to the monkey park. The hotel was nice, clean and the indoors and outdoors baths were great. A very calm place. I totally would recommend!!

We had an amazing stay in this traditional familyrun Ryokan. It was the perfect experience in a tatami room with futon beds and a great view of a small waterfall from a patio with rocking chairs. We were welcomed by traditional sweets and green tea. Entrance to the public onsen on ther ground floor was wonderful. Rooms and house was clean. The host Akira was super friendly and helpful as well as the rest of the staff and family. We even got a transfer to the trainstation. Akiras mother made beautiful flower arrangements. Close to shops and restaurants, walking distance to monkey forest.

The onsens were absolutely incredible – this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Easy access to the train station and Snow Monkey Park. Beautiful facilities and warm and friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast had great vegetarian options, and service was brilliant. High quality yukatas and tabi socks to chill out in when enjoying complimentary tea in the lounge. Overall fantastic experience.
