The stay was perfect for my siblings and I, and the host was so friendly and helpful! We were pleasantly surprised at how big the room was considering Japanese standards. The beds are big and comfy and if you like taking baths, the bath tub is also really big. The building feels new and has lovely traditional Japanese decor. It was great having everything you need for a longer stay such as easy access to laundry and kitchen. The location is quite central but also nice and quiet with grocery store and 7-eleven right nearby. We loved that there was a quick 20 min. walk to the big shopping streets of Shinjuku where you can basically buy anything. Subway is also very close by which made it easy to get to other nearby popular areas of Tokyo. I would definitely come back and have already recommended the place to family members travelling to Tokyo soon. Thank you for hosting us and the lovely accommodation!

The appartment was located in Okubo, a very nice neighborhood close to the Yamanote line, which made it very easy to move around the city.
It had every amenities we could ask for, the place was very quiet, the bed was really comfortable and a n additional futon was available.
The host was the very best. Really kind and helpful. He helped us make a reservation at a restaurant, picked us up from the station and gave us a tour of the neighborhood, offered us drinks each time we happened to run into each other... He made our time in Tokyo 10x better!

The house was tastefully designed, still has that new feeling. Entry into the building and rooms with codes makes it so convenient. Water pressure was amazing. Staff spoke english and helped us. We missed a night and they proccessed a refund with no fuss. Nice drip coffee. Extremely close to a don que store ( 1 min walk). Very quiet neighbour hood just off the main street so sleeping at night was so peaceful. 5min walk from 2 trains. So many great resturants especially loved the train style sushi resturant nearby (4min walk) yubei. Having a washing machine/dryer means we didnt have to come with so many clothes and so more space for shopping. $2 train to Shinjuku.
