Location is perfectly close to Hirayu bus station. Very large room compared to other facility in Japan. Private onsen available if noone is using. Great services including abundant Japanese breakfast. Besides hotel onsen, you also get free voucher to use public onsen near by, which usually costs 700 yen per person. It is a hotel where the owner takes good care of and pays attention to details. Good restaurants near by in case you want to have more options

Mitsue Kinoshita is an elderly lady and manages everything! She uses a tablet to translate everything in your native language. Everything was uncomplicated and gave off the feeling of staying at your japanese grandma in her traditional japanese house with her beautifukly maintaines garden amd ourdoor earea.
The dinner (in yukata) was an amazing variation with hida beef as the main star. You grill it yourself on a little charcoal grill.
Finally, the onsen. Absolutely amazing! Indoor and outdoor, open 24h (because it is a hot spring^^). She even has a onsen foot bath on the terrace. Of note, the toilets are shared and the bathroom are the indoor and ourdoor onsen.

I loved everything about this hotel.
The staff were polite and helpful with any queries that I had, and the hotel itself had a very peaceful atmosphere. The private onsens were such a bonus (first come first served, there'll be a sign to indicate whether it's vacant or occupied, and they suggest you only spend 30 mins in there at a time so others aren't waiting long for you). There's a coin washer/dryer machine, plus they offer massages too.
The room was huge for one person and had everything that I needed. It was clean and very thoughtfully decorated, with gorgeous
mountain views.
I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!

We went to Kazeya in our honeymoon. We had an upgrade for a room with a private Onsen and it was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect resting after walking days and days in Tokyo. The food in this Onsen was perfect and the staff speak good english. Everyting was perfect. Thank you so much for the hospitality
