Location is perfectly close to Hirayu bus station. Very large room compared to other facility in Japan. Private onsen available if noone is using. Great services including abundant Japanese breakfast. Besides hotel onsen, you also get free voucher to use public onsen near by, which usually costs 700 yen per person. It is a hotel where the owner takes good care of and pays attention to details. Good restaurants near by in case you want to have more options

We had a great stay in this little ryokan run by a friendly old lady who goes out of her way to make travellers feel welcome. It's an old house with an outdoor hot spring (we had the place to ourselves!). In the evening you can have dinner in the house (various options). The breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for an authentic experience in the area. You might need a car if you want to reach the ryokan easily.

the Ryokan was very authentic and beautiful - also the staff was very kind. We LOVED the dinner in the evening and the breakfast in the morning. Truly a wonderful experience. Also the Onsen was beautiful, we were able to unwind and relax, which was very nice after a long trip. Thank you for this experience!
