Lovely spacious rooms, helpful kind staff, Meals were well prepared and the afternoon tea on check in was a lovely touch. View from room and outdoor bath was stunning, so special. Staff very helpful when we needed extra help to contact local onsen, they were so kind and called ahead for us so we could keep our booking on very short notice.

Exceptional & best onsen experience at the heritage onsen bath. All 3 public onsen are beautifully crafted in old wood and very well maintained with their original status. Having visited many onsen in Japan, their largest bath was truly something that I would never forget. It's also very nice that they have men/women/mix time schedule that balanced both tradition & modern needs.

Offering views of Tanigawa-dake Mountain, the peaceful Japanese rooms at Bettei Senjyuan include a private hot-spring bath and traditional futon beds.

Very beautiful accommodations- first time staying at a ryokan with a very young child and they were very accommodating! The location was gorgeous, the private and public baths were beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to visit again.

Everything is top notch, room is spacious and clean with daily room service, staff is extremely friendly, warm and hospitable. Loved being tucked away from town on the orchard. The apples and apple juice were delicious and the owners were super helpful as we had an injury to deal with (a trip to the hospital), and they even gave the sorry sore one a lift home. Amazing hospitality. Would definitely recommend. Very comfortable and spacious with all the required appliances

Good plan for sleep and social. House was spacious and clean, games to play and good area for eating and relaxing. Excellent utilities and a big plus for having dishing service in a private rent. Good area to dry ski equipment and clothes.

A perfect few days! The hotel is in a great location, though transportation is generally difficult, making taxis difficult to find. However, various operators offer shuttle services upon reservation. The rooms are clean and tidy, coffee and other beverages are available in the lobby, and the breakfast is delicious and nutritious. We booked a two-day trip with ZIGGIES ADVENTURE JP and had a wonderful time. The tour guide was also very professional. The hotel owner, a handsome Australian gentleman, was very warm and friendly, providing meticulous service and accommodating every request. He explained the surrounding area, provided safety precautions, and provided toys for the children. The hot spring he recommended was also excellent, a 10-minute walk away, with stunning views along the way. Our stay at Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery left us with wonderful memories.
