The hotel was awesome. It was clean, the beds where comfortable, there was a tv with Holu. A place for baggage, separate bathroom from the shower. There were new bed sheets everyday and even pijamas in the style of Haori. The hotel has a public hot bath.

The room had great views of the park, and it was nice to hear children playing. It is a family hotel so lots of parents with young children. There was a local market on Saturday. Good temple nearby and close enough to Kyoto station to walk. The daily welcome drinks were a bonus, as you could end your day relaxing after a full day sightseeing.

Everything was just fine.
The room is quite large and well equipped.
The train station is just around the corner and Kyoto train/bus station, just 10 minutes walk (or one stop from the Umekoji station)
